StoreOps Peak-Hour Decision Support

DestinationBlinkit

CrewGroup Project
StatusPROTOTYPE

Overview

Problem
Blinkit store managers can't see their pickers during the 6 to 10 PM peak.
What I did
Co-authored the PRD in a 4-person PM squad, from 392 reviews, 11 first-person accounts and a store-manager interview.
Result
Surfaced an estimated ₹3.16 Cr per store in annual margin loss, plus a one-tap fix.

Not a data problem. A data-routing problem.

The franchise owner outside the store sees live picker metrics. The store manager on the floor sees nothing.

What I worked on

Persona development, evaluating three solution options by when each one intervenes, and the MoSCoW feature spec.

No new hardware. No new data.

A StoreOps extension that routes existing Kafka and scanner events to the manager's device: live picker status, floor alerts, one-tap interventions. Designed to be read by a stressed manager in under 5 seconds.

We picked the option that intervenes while a decision can still change the outcome, not the easiest one to build.
